Patiently Waiting...

Last weekend Quentin's Aunt Marsha, Uncle Kerry, Aunt Lisa, and Uncle Lawrence were all in town visiting. Quentin and I were dog sitting so I quickly went home and took the dog out. When I got back Quentin told me to talk to his Aunt Marsha about a dog that needed adopted. I asked a few questions and every answer I got made me smile a little bigger.

Quentin and I discussed the situation. Our answer was simply YES we will adopt Molly. Yes that's right her original name is Molly, but we are going to change it. Getting home that night I couldn't stop thinking about her and what she would bring to our family. We decided to TRY to keep it a surprise for the girls but that didn't last long. On Thursday March 31st we told the girls about our new addition we would be bringing home Sunday April 3rd after church. We showed them a few pictures of her and they are very excited to bring her home.

More to come on April 3rd such as her NEW name, Pictures, and the story of bringing our first pet home!

Clarissa has been doing her doll’s hair for awhile now, and even attempts to do her own every once in awhile. She’s getting better and better each time. When today I saw her I was surprised to see her hair in a pony tail. I asked if daddy did it and she giggled and replied with “No mom I did it. What do you think?”
As you can see my reaction was no surprise. I told her it looked amazing.

Also adding to the “Looking Good Theme” after the girl’s cousin came over we got bundled up to visit a friend of mine who just adopted a beagle named Snoopy. We had not been to my friends new house yet either so we where excited to get a tour as well. Snoopy is adorable and the girls loved playing with him. But during the tour they found the play room. All three girls LOVED the beads, purse, and other things my friend had collected over the years. Clarissa then called out “FASHION SHOW”

Bending The Rules

The girls couldn’t get their giggles out in time for bed so I said that they could stay up and watch a movie. The girls LOVED “bending the rules”. They watching the movie and enjoyed a late night snack of water melons. With Remi visiting our house for a few days he was “bending the rules” with being on the couch while the girls watched Tinkerbell The Great Fairy Rescue. The girls enjoyed doing this and understood it was only aloud since it was spring break.
