Feeling The Love

On August 28, 2010 my sister in law got married! I'm so happy for them :) I wish nothing but the best for them. With this marriage I not only got a new brother in law but I now have a nephew! I'm very new to this because I only have nieces. My sister in law is also expecting and is due in the beginning of January and they find out in two weeks if its a boy or girl. Its always fun to have little ones around! For the wedding my husband was the officiant and I was the bride's attendant. My daughters were the flower girls and my NEW brother in law's son was the ring bearer. The wedding was about 10 min and then we were off to the reception. We had a blast but by time 10:00 came the girls were falling asleep so we headed home. Today the bride and groom were happy to sleep in and just enjoy being married without the stress of planning.

Tut tut it looks like RAIN

Today was a beautiful day and so I decided that I would take this opportunity and take a bike ride. I rode out to my in laws house and thats about 3 miles away from my house and I did it within 25min. I wasn't sure if that was good or not but I was proud of myself. I ate dinner with my mother in law and daughters because my husband golfs with his dad every Monday so the girls go out there and spend time with Grandma. I ate a fairly small amount knowing I would be riding my bike back home. I left a tad earlier that I wanted to just because I felt the sooner the better. I left a little before 6:30pm and on my way home it began to down pour. I had no place to go except home. So I put my cell phone in my pocket and finished the ride home. I was soaked by time I got home but I was proud of myself for going on a 6 mile bike ride. Even with heavy, wet, sticky clothes on.

On Sunday August 15, 2010 Clarissa asked me to pray with her and we did. She said her prayer about people who were sick and that for one day no one got hurt. My little 5 year old had the sweetest prayer to share and I was honored that she chose me to witness it.

I also had a very proud mommy moment today Monday August 16, 2010. Kimberly was singing with the Karaoke machine and my little 3 year old said "mommy get your bible please," while pointing to the book shelf. I got it down and I read a few scriptures and then she added "mommy I love reading with you." I was so touched by her that I wanted to keep this moment forever.

Today marks the 6th wedding anniversary for Quentin and I. I've grown and changed so much since that day and I love my husband more now than I ever dreamed possible. We went out to eat last night and then he took me shopping for a few new shirts and some jewelry. We also attended a church function today and that was a neat way to spend time together as well. Tonight for dinner is home made pizza with the kids yummy! I'm very happy in my marriage and hope to have several more amazing years with my wonderful husband and beautiful daughters.
